How Tudy got his nickname:
I have an interest in word & name origins. I thought about Tudy's nickname for a
long time and when I thought I had it figured out, I asked Tudy about my theory.
I said "Tudy, I have a mental picture of a first-grade class where the teacher wrote
each student's name on the blackboard, spelling your last name as "Tadi" and you
raised your hand and said "No, teacher, two D; two D in Taddi", and from then on,
the guys all called you "Two D Taddi". Tudy thought about it for a moment and said
"Man, you know I haven't thought about that in forever, but I think you're right!"
